I enjoyed a wonderful one and a half day break in La Villeneuve au Chêne in the Département de l’Aube in the Région Grand Est. Although, my hotel is a Garni hotel (la-renouillere.com), I got a lovely comfy and familiar feeling from the host couple who had two children and a dog. They took wonderful all-around care of me. Even my laundry was washed and on the second evening there was something very special to enjoy: Fondue Bourguignonne. A true delicacy! What extraordinary hospitality!
