The bad weather for the next time has led me to take the fastest way south. That’s also the reason why I took the bus to speed things up a bit. On October 25th at 03:00 in the morning we started with a nice walk through the nocturnal Burgundy town of Auxerre. Arrived at my stage finish at the station, I then took the BlaBlaBus to Paris until the bus station Bercy/Seine between Quai de Bercy and the Pac de Bercy, which was also very busy at 06:00 in the morning. There I used the two-hour stay for a cosy breakfast in the typical Bistrot du Métro, corner Rue de Bercy / Rue Corbineau. The atmosphere there shortly after 6 o’clock in the morning I found “vraiment très parisien”. Then I continued with the next BlaBlaBus via the AutoRoute Nationale A10 via Orléans, Tours, Poitiers, Bordeaux, Bayonne, Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz to Hendaye in the French Basque Country at the Bay of Biscay shortly before the border to Spain.
