Today was a quiet day. At 27°C I said goodbye to my host couple in Hendaye and explored the marina. The water taxi took just 5 minutes to transfer me from the French to the Spanish Basque Country. The way to my new accommodation was relatively short, but steep and almost at the altitude I will climb to tomorrow. The heat made me sweat a lot. In front of the house, a tiptop restored farm from the 15th century, I first discovered a flowering hornet paradise. But the “giant wasps” were not disturbed by my intrusive curiosity.
