I found a nice place with a couple of retired teachers and globetrotters in Hendaye in the French Basque Country. Dany does yoga every day and Michel loves to hike at great heights. They used to travel around almost all year as backpackers on local buses and stay in guesthouses. But over the years they have exchanged their heavy backpacks for suitcases and now prefer to share their house with other travellers via Airbnb. I will spend the next two days here on the coast of the French Basque Country. This gives me some time to prepare for my soon to come trip on the Camino del Norte. The weather here is fantastic! Palm trees and marinas as far as the eye can see. So definitely a place worth seeing. From my room I can even see Spain and the Pyrenees over the bay of Txingudi!
