Today was a rather lonely day. But it was also my fault, because I ran the relatively short 15 km without a break. My right leg is better. It hardly rained, only towards the end it started to drizzle. Beautiful stone paths over watercourses. But I didn’t see a single open pilgrim resting place. Also the German hostel with the German café was closed. I counted a maximum of 20 pilgrims, almost all women, some from the slang of the US west coast. Only one horse talked to me on the way (see photo). But here in Arzúa the hotel this evening is a pleasant exception, also the kitchen: HYPERLINK “http://www.1930boutiquehotel.com” www.1930boutiquehotel.com. Only recently opened, everything new and very stylish, tip-top!
Somehow I had a strangely familiar feeling when I arrived in Ushuaia for the second time in almost a year. I simply love it here.
