In order to find a start I made it to Sri Lanka for a traditional Ayurveda Panchakarma cure.
For those of you wondering what a Ayurveda Panchakarma cure is – well… it’s a 5 step mind and body experience, massages, steam baths, even a diet and losing weight is involved in the process! But the idea, is to clean the body of toxins, and well, all I can say is, it was great. I’ve left a link at the bottom of the page to find out a little more about the hotel and the experiences you can have there.
From now on, I will do it every year. I really have been cooling down. I followed all instruction strictly. I lost weight. I did Yoga and meditation. I totally canceled sugar, alcohol and meat. It was a special experience and after five weeks there, I feel recovered and relaxed as never in my life before.

Now it’s onto the next journey and I have a feeling I’ll be thanking myself for going through this cleansing process and hopefully reaping the rewards!
