Rest has been much needed, and I got a lucky find, in the way of the very nice, 51300 Châtelraould-Saint-Louvent: For just €51 I got myself a very nice two rooms/kitchen/bathroom/terrace holiday apartment from a Dutchman who offered it via Booking.com. I think I’ll be taking a day or two break here, to recuperate and rest.
My host makes a lovely breakfast and even cooks in the evenings which is a nice addition. I can’t complain with the duck breast with mushrooms and chicory as the perfect way to finish off the day. I have to say I’ve enjoyed my time here!
